Let us face it. The streets in the city can be so crowded. Filled to the brim with people hustling and bustling every which way, the streets are a petri dish of a million and one different bacteria, not to mention the smells, dirtiness of the streets, and evasive introverts who resent the populated sidewalks.

What if I told you that there was a way to avoid all this?

A way free of the cigarette smoke, non-aromatic rubbish bins, half-eaten hot dogs, chewed gum, and boundless filth?

That's right. The Way of the Rats. The sideroad for a speedy and clean getaway; a way to live the Joy of the Rats to a greater level. Such places do not exist only in our mind fantasies. This travel network is a reality, and it is so often overlooked by our non-allies. They scurry past the entrances every day, calling our Way a place of filth, a place of slime, a place of refuse.

But we must look beyond the grate.

Into a world that is waiting to be revealed to us:

The Sewers.  

The Sewers are that calm haven amidst the concrete, that solitary rescue from the isolation of the busy streets, an escape from the filth of city streets.

Why the Sewers?

I think the better question is: Why the streets?
